Al-Kwakh
– plural for hut in English - is a village located
in northern Bekaa near Hermel. It stands out as a responsible
tourism destination that promises visitors a remarkable
experience and an authentic stay thanks to a group of active
local women. Located at an altitude of 800m and overlooking
the Eastern Lebanon Mountain Range with captivating views,
Al-Kwakh is a traditional Lebanese eco-lodge consisting
of three guesthouses ready to receive you all year long.
The
Lazab Lodge (Lazzab means juniper, these beautiful trees
from which the famous fruit liquor gin is extracted), situated
at 1860 meters above sea level will host us for unforgettable
moments, local diner, that will give us a pleasant atmosphere
to our weekend, without forgetting hiking, walking, discovering.

I:
Departure from Beirut @ 8:00 am
Rafting in the Assi River
Overnight in Lazzab Lodge (1860 m)
Day
II:
Guided hike in the mountains of Hermel (advanced level)
Lunch in the Lazzab lodge
Departure to Al-Kwakh village in the afternoon
Visit the cooperative of Assindyan
Overnight in Al-Kwakh ecol-lodge, attend a traditional musical
night instrument
Day
III:
Guided hike in the mountains of AL-Kwakh (medium level)
Back to Beirut in the late afternoon
