Cinnamon Tea
Chaii al Kirfi
2 cups water
4 teaspoons powdered cinnamon
6 teaspoons sugar or to taste
1 cup chopped walnuts.
Serves 3 persons
Place the water with the powdered cinnamon in a pot and bring to the boil. Let simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
Stir in the sugar and leave for 2 more minutes.
Remove from the heat and pour into tea cups.
Garnish the cinnamon tea with 2 tablespoons of chopped walnuts.
Serve hot.
