Lebanon is among the most beautiful countries in the Middle East. The blue Mediterranean Sea is within short distance from every corner in the country. Adorable villages are situated in green valleys and mountain tops, from south to north. But as you know, it's what's inside that counts. Due to the well-known civil war, the history of Lebanon is sad with many scars through the years. But that's not the whole story. Lebanon has survived many attempts to destruction and survived every single time.

Lebanon is relatively democratic, which is not common in the Arab world today. We can speak our mind, and are proud of that privilege and our freedom. We still have much left to do though. We have issues with the economy, security, unemployment, pollution and many other areas. At the same time, Lebanese are outgoing species who adore their country and enjoy every aspect of life. Nightclubs, bars, restaurants, concerts and theatres are to be found everywhere in cities such as Beirut, Byblos, Jounieh and everywhere else throughout the country. It's not a surprise that Lebanon attracts millions of tourists every year.
